Sh. Vijender Gupta demands unconditional apology from top AAP leaders for blaming BJP for Bhalaswa fire

Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Vidhan Sabha, Sh. Vijender Gupta today demanded unconditional apology from the four prominent readers of Aam Aadami Party in view of the report by the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC).  These leaders had blamed BJP for causing fire at Bhalaswa Sanitary landfill site to spread pollution in the city and fail the odd-even scheme.  On April 21, Environment Minister, Imran Hussain, Chairperson DJB Kapil Mishra, Ashutosh and Dilip Pandey had made concerted and mischievous attempt to put the entire blame to BJP.

Mr. Gupta said that the four member committee set up to probe recent fire incidents at the Bhalaswa etc. stated that the fire was caused due to generation of methane and unknown human error.  The report has failed to establish any conspiracy angle as alleged by Aam Aadami Party leaders.

Reacting to fire at Bhalaswa, Mr. Gupta had said on the day of incident it is highly condemnable to link fire to odd-even scheme.  He had said that it was a natural phenomena caused by emission of methane gas.
