New Delhi 22st April,Akash Dwivedi,The famous artist Smt. Kiran Soni Gupta, Senior IAS Officer is organizing her art exhibition ‘Safarnama’ at Civil Services Officers Institute (CSOI), Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. The exhibition will continue till 1st May, 2016 from 11 am to 7 pm. On this occasion, Smt. Gupta has told that around 100 paintings of portraits, sculpture, miniature etc., made by herself, are displayed in this exhibition. She has also informed that some famous paintings like Lotus, Dark & Lovely Woods, Darkness at Noon, Purple Bamboo, Pooja Times [was displayed at Le Louvre Museum in Paris in 2013] Grand Old Man, Rajasthani Nari including paintings based on desert beauty and colors are also displayed. Smt. Kiran Soni Gupta is presently Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India. She is a 1985 batch IAS Officer. She has served Govt. of India in various Departments besides District Collector in two districts and was Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bharatpur and Jaipur. She has also been conferred with National Award for her outstanding contribution in the administrative development of National Productivity Council (NPC) and NABARD. She has been selected for prestigious Mason Fellowship to study Master in Public Administration by the Haward Canady School in the year 2005. She has been honored with the famous scholarship of Maxwell School Syracuse in the year 2004. Besides these, she has also been awarded with “Unnat Bharat Sevashree Damini Puruskar 2013”, “Rajasthan Gaurav Puruskar 2013”, Nari Pratibha Samman 2012”, “Artists of the Year 2009” and “Kala Shiromani Puruskar 2008”. The famous painting “Teen Peedhiyaan” of Smt. Gupta was exhibited in the famous Louvre Museum of Paris in December, 2013. The “Pooja Times” painting was also exhibited in 2012 at Le Louvre Museum of Paris. Earlier also the paintings of Smt. Kiran Soni Gupta were exhibited internationally in New York, Boston, Los Angles and in different cities of Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati and Hyderabad in India. Many Officers of Indian Administrative Services, Art Lovers and Foreigners have attended the art exhibition at CSOI, New Delhi.
