DELHI, May 11---Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Ajay Maken said
the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP have neglected issues affecting the people of
Delhi as they have been playing petty politics at the cost of Delhi’s development after coming to power in Delhi
and at the Centre. Shri Maken said the main issues in the MCD bye-elections to
the 13 wards are lack of developments and the total neglect of the local
problems facing the people. Shri Maken said the Congress candidates have been
receiving overwhelming support in all the 13 wards from the voters and they
were confident of winning by impressive margins. Shri Ajay Maken today
addressed three corner meetings at the Munirka and Nanakpura municipal wards.
He said both the AAP Government in Delhi and the BJP-led Central Government
were anti-Government employees. Shri Maken said the BJP-led Central Government
was only protecting the interests of big corporates like Adani and Ambani
without bothering about the welfare of the Government employees. He said the
AAP Government looks at the Government employees with suspicion.

secretary Shri Shakeel Ahmed and Shri Raj Babbar, MP addressed public meetings
at various wards today. Shri Raj Babbar addressed meetings at the Munirka,
Kichripur, Jhilmil and Ballimaran Municipal wards.
Addressing
three meeting today at the Rock Garden,
Sector 7, R K.Puram, PNT Colony, R.K.Puram and near Murli Jee Mandir,
Nanakpura, Shri Ajay Maken said the
Congress party always worked to protect the interest of the Government employees
by constitutiong pay commissions for employees and also by adopting various
welfare measures for them. He said the Congress Government had renovated the
accommodations for Government emoployees in Delhi and also took various other measures for
their welfare.
