BJP WORKERS DEMONSTRATED AGAINST THE SUPPRESSION OF DJB TANKERSCAM OF 400 CRORE BY KEJRIWAL GOVERNMENT


Delhi BJP Will Present the Letter Written by Kapil Mishra on 28th August, 2015 before the Lt. Governor as an Evidence and Demand Action against the Accused Persons of DJB Tanker Scam and Special Session of the Assembly to discuss the scam  


New Delhi, 9th May.  Delhi BJP today staged demonstrations at 11 offices of the Delhi Jal Board including the Headquarters Varunalaya and demanded arrest of the guilty persons of the 400 crore rupees of Tanker Scam during Sheila Dikshit Government now being suppressed by Kejriwal Government. When the workers crossed barricade of the Police at the Delhi Jal Board Headquarters and marched towards the Head Office the Police stopped them by force. At many other offices of the Jal Board the workers burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to protest against the Tanker Scam. 

Under the leadership of Pradesh President  Satish Upadhyay, Leader of the Opposition  Vijender Gupta, National Secretary Sardar R.P. Singh, former MLA  Subhash Sachdeva, former Mayor  Yogender Chandolia, Karol Bagh District President  Rajan Tiwari and Incharge  Jaiveer Rana Party workers assembled at Varunalaya. 

Addressing the demonstrators Pradesh President  Satish Upadhyay said that the people of Delhi and the country want to know that why the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is silent on the arrest of the persons involved in the scam which was committed during the then Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit ? What is the deal or what portion of the 400 crore rupees scam that is preventing action against the accused persons of Water Tanker Scam even after the report of the enquiry committee formed by the Minister Kapil Mishra ?  Upadhyayhas said that Delhi BJP will compel the Kejriwal Government to arrest former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and we shall demand the Lt. Governor  Najeeb Jung to order investigation into this case by treating the letter written by Water Minister  Kapil Mishra on 28th August, 2015 as evidence. He said that in Delhi people are talking that the main reason of his silence is that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got 370 gifts from the then Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in lieu of the 370 pages report which the Chief Minister Kejriwal was showing before the election.    

Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly  Vijender Gupta said that the BJP Legislature Party demands that the Government should call special session of Assembly on this issue and should answer what was the danger to the Government about which Water Minister Kapil Mishra mentioned in his letter.  Which is the power which could cause the fall of Kejriwal Government if action was taken against the corruption of Sheila Dikshit Government ? He said that we shall take the fight of the BJP workers in the streets today to the Legislative Assembly also.

National Secretary Sardar R.P. Singh said that there is a famous joke on social media today that there has been a deal between Kejriwal and Sheila Dikshit due to which Kejriwal has locked his lips and also covered up the investigation into the corruption of the Sheila Dikshit Government. He said that we demand Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to tell about any order of investigation into the corruption during Sheila Dikshit Government even in a single case.

Under the leadership of MLA Jagdish Pradhan the workers of Naveen Shahdara District and District President  Anil Gupta staged demonstration atBhagirathi Water Plant and submitted a Memorandum demanding arrest of the guilty persons in Tanker Scam. Under the leadership of North East District President Raj Kumar Ballan the workers staged demonstration at Sonia Vihar Water Plant in which the prominent persons were Leaders of the Corporation  Sanjay Jain,  Ram Kishan Bansiwal,  Rajbala Sharma and former MLA  Mohan Singh Bisht.

The local councillors and party workers under the leadership of Najafgarh District President  Satender Singh staged demonstration at regional Jal Board Officenear the Metro Station Nawada and also burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Kejriwal to protest against suppressing the scam. Under the leadership of Pradesh Vice President  Jai Prakash and District President  Jayender Dabasdemonstrations were held in Nangloi, Najafgarh Road Jal Board Office in Najafgarh District in which former MLA  Manoj Shokeen, former Mayor Master Azad Singh and other local Councillors also participated.

The Party workers alongwith North West District President  Vinod Sehrawatblocked the traffic at Bawana Chowk and staged demonstration in which Corporation leaders  Tarachand Bansal,  Vijay Prakash Pandey,  Pravesh Wahi,  Mohan Bhardwaj, all the Councillors, former MLA   Neeldaman Khatri,  Guggan Singh, Chaudhary Chand Ram and hundreds of other workers participated.

Under the leadership of New Delhi District President  Suresh Sharma, Pradesh Vice Presidents  Vishakha Shailani and  Kiran Chaddhademonstration was organised at R.K. Puram DJB Office in which Corporation leaders  Shailender Singh Monty,  Radhe Shyam Sharma,  Meenu Pawar,  K.C. Taneja, former MLA  Anil Sharma and hundreds of workers participated.

Under the leadership of Mayur Vihar District President  Virender Sachdeva a strong demonstration was staged at DJB office Mayur Vihar-II in which Corporation leaders  Rajkumar Dillon,  Devender Singh,  Sarla Chaudhary,  Nikki Singh, Pradesh Vice President  Abhay Verma, party leader  Ram Charan Gujrati,  Tejpal Singh,  Kiran Vaidya participated and burnt the effigy of Kejriwal Government. The Shahdara District BJP workers staged demonstrations at Preet Vihar Jal Board Office under the leadership of MLA  Om Prakash Sharma and President  Kanwar Sain.

Under the leadership of Chandni Chowk District President  Suman Kumar Gupta, former MLA  Motilal Sodhi, Councillor  Arvind Garg,  Lata Sodhi,  Pinki Jain and party workers staged demonstration at Ghanta Ghar, Chandni Chowk and took out March from Chandi Chowk to Hauz Kazi for awareness against the suppression of Rs. 400 crores Tanker Scam against Kejriwal Government. Under the leadership of Keshavpuram District President  Sanjeev Sharma and Pradesh General Secretary  Rekha Gupta the BJP workers staged demonstration at Delhi DJB Office, Pitampura.
